Manage Your Medication
Mrs. Higley experiences abdominal pain that she has mentioned to three doctors. They have ordered tests but cannot find a cause; therefore, she is referred to a specialist for abdominal pain. Upon close questioning, her new doctor discovers that Mrs. Higley takes Advil three to four times a week which she did not report to her other three doctors. A subsequent test reveals an ulcer in her stomach for which she is treated, thereby stopping her pain.
